    Set on an angle, this 11x9 mm amethyst is dressed
    up with two diamond baguettes to enhance its color.

    The amethyst is just as vibrant as the photo shows, and
    the diamonds are actually a lot whiter and brighter.  

    It was a difficult ring to photograph, as the diamonds set
    low, right atop the finger, and the amethyst is a pretty
    good-sized, belly-cut stone.
